Abstract
In an alcoholism treatment program, the 50 patients (men, mean age 45) who decided to take disulfiram had higher mean scores on Rotter''s Internal-External Locus of Control Scale (9.74 vs. 6.28, P < .001), i.e., were more externally oriented, than the 100 patients (men, mean age 46.5) who did not choose to take disulfiram. The 2 groups did not differ significantly in mean age, mean education (12 yr) or percentage employed (58 and 51%).This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
