Abstract
Kropp and Angwafo described a urethral lengthening reimplantation operation for the correction of urinary incontinence. We used this technique in 16 girls with neurogenic incontinence with successful results in 13. We describe the problems encountered during the operation, especially with ureters but also with the tube. Sometimes we resected half to all of the muscular layer to obtain a thin and pliable tube. The procedure was used only in girls. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
