Abstract
This article describes an innovative approach to the delivery of key skills in Higher Education (HE). It is based on the findings of a collaborative project carried out in Southampton. The article follows the project through the design, implementation and evaluation of a series of pilot delivery methodologies, with groups of undergraduates, over a 2 year period. It recognises issues of staff development and describes the methods used throughout this evolutionary project. The article concludes with undergraduates views on the relevance of skills as part of a degree programme. Keywords
