Abstract
This experiment substantiates the hypothesis that the gastric pacesetter potential sets the pace of gastric contractions. By pacing the gastric pacesetter potential with electrical stimuli during periods of spontaneous and pentagastrin-induced contractile activity, we also paced gastric contractions.Keywords
