Abstract
Four cases of sudden death are reported in which examination of the conducting system revealed: ( a) an old occlusion of the atrioventricular nodal artery, ( b) two cases of calcific destruction of nodal tissue, and (c) a haemorrhage in the His bundle. It is suggested that these findings are of significance in the cause of death. Keywords
