Abstract
Cyclopenta-polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (cyclopenta-PAHs) are a group of compounds that have been detected as environmental pollutants. Perturbation molecular orbital (PMO) calculations on their presumed ultimate carcinogenic metabolites, the cyclopenta-PAH expoxides, predict that they may have a greater biological hazard than the classic PAHs.Keywords
