Abstract
Disappearance pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and general tolerance of i.v. timolol were compared in 12 healthy volunteers and 10 patients with a definite or proven acute myocardial infarction. The drug was administered to the patients immediately on arrival at the hospital after a median delay time of 4 h. Tolerance to the injections was good in both volunteers and patients. The study revealed disappearance pharmacokinetics that were similar in volunteers and patients. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
