Studies on the Proliferation Rhythm of Primitive Embryonic Erythroblasts

Abstract
Blood formation, both intravascular at 30_hrs. and extravascular at 60-hrs. incubation in chick embryos was studied in dry fixed smears stained with May-Grunwald-Giemsa. The authors conclude proliferation here is not synchronously rhythmic but governed by the laws of fluctuating variability.
