Abstract
Ab initio calculations are presented which point out the similarities between the energy levels of positron-anion complexes and Rydberg series. In order to illustrate these similarities, the energy levels and charge densities of (F-, e+) and (CN-; e+) are compared with those of the Rydberg states of Na and NO, respectively.Keywords
