Abstract
Four out of 41 cases of osteosarcoma of the limb bones of dogs have tumors affecting more than one bone. In one dog, multiple long bones and vertebrae were involved, but there were no metastases in the lungs. The other 3 cases involved the long bones and the same end of the same bone was affected in the opposite limb. Two of these dogs had lung metastases. A comparison is made between the behavior of osteosarcomas in dog and man in relation to the involvement of multiple bones. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
