Abstract
The problem of an array consisting of a slot antenna and two symmetrically-located cylindrical dipoles is formulated. The approximate distribution of the current along each antenna is obtained by a method of iteration. The radiation function, the coupling coefficients between the slot and the dipole, the relation between the magnetic current in the slot and the electric current in the dipole, and the input impedance of the slot in the presence of the dipoles have been obtained. An experimental setup for measuring the radiation patterns is described and measured and theoretical patterns are displayed. Keywords
