Abstract
Neutron incoherent inelastic scattering measurements on H2O are reported. Two bands, seen at 290 meV and 360 meV had not been resolved before in a neutron scattering experiment. The width of the stretching mode is much less than in previous neutron measurements and in close agreement with optical data. Keywords
