Abstract
A lymphocyte blastogenic technique was employed to examine cell-mediated immunity in a N. americanus infection. Infective 3rd-stage larvae of N. americanus were used for antigen preparation, and lymphocyte cultures were prepared from peripheral blood taken on days 3, 17 and 51 after infection with 250 3rd-stage larvae of N. americanus. At 3 days post-infection, lymphocyte transformation was not induced; at 17 and 51 days after infection significant transformation was obtained. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
