Abstract
• A 3-year-old child had a multifocal primary peritoneal mesothelioma. After partial resection, the lesion was controlled locally by irradiation and combination chemotherapy for a year, but the patient eventually died of lung and nodal metastases. This is the third documented peritoneal mesothelioma in a child. The combination of chemotherapy employed in conjunction with irradiation seems useful in control of this tumor.
