CONVULSIONS IN THE POSTOPERATIVE PERIOD

Abstract
A 43-year-old male who had previously sustained gunshot wounds of both legs, for which amputations were performed, underwent operation for disobliteration of the right femoral and left common iliac arteries. Persistent convulsions developed early in the postoperative period. Treatment and possible precipitating factors are discussed.
