Abstract
Presentation of CaseA sixty-five-year-old single woman entered the hospital because of vomiting.There was a long history of alcoholism and obesity. A liver biopsy thirteen years previously showed alcoholic cirrhosis. Seven years before admission radium implantation and a Wertheim hysterectomy were performed because of an adenocarcinoma of the endometrium; no metastases were found. At the time of operation a coarsely nodular liver was noted, and the gall bladder was filled with small calculi. Two years later a cholecystectomy was performed.
