Abstract
To stimulate soil conditions, electrodialyzed colloidal clay titrated with Ca, Mg, K, Sr, etc., was used as a medium. When the colloidal clay as a cultural medium for Azotobacter was compared with Ashby''s medium it was found to increase N fixation 3.1 fold. Other colloidal material did not serve so successfully as the colloidal clay. Keywords
