Abstract
A 4 yr old boy is presented with gingival hemorrhage secondary to a rare intra-osseous arteriovenous malformation of the mandible. Normal mandibular arteriovenous blood supply is reviewed along with pathogenesis of commonly occurring vascular tumors. Angiographic catheterization reveals an aneurysmal formation of the inferior maxillary artery and opacification of the facial and external jugular veins. Successful treatment is accomplished by surgical arterial ligation.
