Abstract
A model for the strangeness changing leptonic decays is proposed, in which the presence of the ΔS = -ΔQ transition is shown to be compatible with the predictions of the well-known ΔI = 1/2 rule for both Kl3 and Kl4 decays, provided that CP invariance is “maximally” violated in that transition. Some remarks on the sigma β decay are given.
