Abstract
Cyclosporin A eye drops were used on six patients to treat corneal ulcers associated with rheumatic diseases, oculomucocutaneous syndrome, and Sjögren's syndrome. Conjunctival excision was additionally carried out in two cases. All ulcers healed rapidly. The mechanism of ulcer formation involving T-lymphocytes is discussed. This publication has 54 references indexed in Scilit:
