Abstract
Relatively large doses of I131 tagged Ethiodol are tolerated by dogs when injected intralymphatically. Ethiodol remains in lymph nodes for a period of months, allowing the I131 to emit most of its radiation during radioactive decay. This technic produces a significant degree of destruction of lymph nodes within the path of injection and might prove of value in conditioning a host to receive a homograft or for selective irradiation of lymphomas or nodal metastases. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
