Abstract
An HCN laser oscillating at 890 GHz has been frequency locked to an absorption line in difluoroethylene with a stability of the order of 2 parts in 108. The absolute frequency of the absorption line was measured and found to be 890 759.60 ± 0.08 MHz.Keywords
