Abstract
The fall of blood pressure provoked in hypertensive men by a single oral dose of 1 mg of prazosin is associated with an increase of forearm muscle blood flow. This phenomenon may be demonstrated by a sequence of strain-gauge plethysmographic measurements, taken at regular intervals (5-10 min) before and during the action of the drug, lasting > 2 h.
