Abstract
The × symmetry of the fermion dynamical symmetry model (FDSM) was studied. Analytic expressions are given for the wave functions and matrix elements of the pair creation operators , , and E2 transition operator for the heritage u=0, 1, 2 cases. Various Pauli effects which differentiate the FDSM from IBM , as well as the relationship between the wave functions and matrix elements in the FDSM, the interacting boson model, the Sp (6,R) models, and the Elliott model are discussed. Extensive discussions of the physical implications of the model are presented.
