Abstract
In a direct sequence spread spectrum based vehicle location system, the arriving signal is normally correlated with the original pseudonoise (PN) sequence to determine the range estimate. The authors use super-resolution techniques to improve the resolution of the range estimate beyond that of the traditional PN correlation method. It is shown that the improvement ranges from twice to more than 40 times for both simulated and measured channels. Keywords
