Abstract
A numerical method for integration of the laminar boundary layer equations past a discontinuous chage in the boundary conditions along a flat palte is presented, together with some results computed for slot-injection of fluid from the plate. The method, which is discussed in detail, is a two-region matching procedure that follows very closely the mathematical development of the solution near the singularity and seems capable of being adapted to more general non-linear parabolic problems. Keywords
