Abstract
During the past few years radium has come to occupy an important position in the treatment of malignant diseases of the skin. The literature on this phase of radium work is so abundant that it would seem more important to devote time to a discussion of technic rather than to a further discussion of its merits in this field. With this in mind, I present, in part, at least, the methods employed at the Memorial Hospital. Since it is frequently easier to illustrate a method than to describe it, considerable use has been made of photography in an effort to show the types of lesions found best suited to various forms of application. Skin lesions are so readily accessible that one of the most serious handicaps in the use of radium for the treatment of malignant diseases is overcome at the outset.
