Abstract
Letterer-Siwe disease occurred in 4 infant sibs from two consanguineous families. An identical clinical course and pathological picture was observed in all 4 infants. The occurrence of families with multiple cases supports the hypothesis of genetic causation in Letterer-Siwe disease. The family patterns are in accord with an autosomal recessive inheritance. Keywords
