Abstract
The spectrum of Mo V has been excited in a vacuum spark and photographed with a vacuum spectrograph. With the aid of the irregular doublet law applied to the Sr I-like isoelectronic sequence, lines involving combinations of , , , and with and , and lying in the spectral region from 2100A to 400A have been identified. Estimates of the absolute term values have been made from a Moseley diagram.
