Abstract
The three principal complex refractive indices of vanadium pentoxide were measured by ellipsometry at seven wavelengths spanning the visible spectrum. Two iterative methods for solving the six-parameter Drude reflection equations are presented. One of these, which converges rapidly, requires measurements from two faces of the crystal. The second converges much more slowly, but has the advantage that measurements may be taken from only a single crystal face. Keywords
