Abstract
Theoretical equations for dielectric, elastic and electromechanical properties of PZT (Pb(Zr, Ti)O3) ceramics with open pores are derived as afunction of porosity based on the 3-3 model. This theory is applied to previous obtained experimental results. Some of them agree well with the theoretical results based on the 3-3 model, while the others agree well with theoretical results based on the 3-0 model rather than on the 3-3 model. This is considered to be due to differences in the structure of the porous PZT ceramics. Keywords
