Abstract
The names of 156 Culicine mosquitos that are known to occur in Tanganyika are listed, together with a further three species of undetersting status. Systematic notes are included for species that show interesting taxonomic features, and locality records and the source of the information are given for each species. The distribution of the species in relation to zoogeographic and climatic regions if summarised in a table. Keywords
