Detection of hydrogen atom beams by stimulated surface ionization

Abstract
The flux of a hydrogen beam has been measured by ionization of an alkali metal coating on a tungsten filament. It is suggested that this method is generally applicable to extending the range of surface ionization detectors. (AIP)Keywords
