Abstract
Before a system can be simulated on an operational analog computer, a passive-element analog computer, a digital differential analyzer, or a digital computer, it is necessary to derive or synthesize a set of differential equations which yield the response of the system to an arbitrary excitation. Every constant and function in the differential equations must be known. Keywords
