Abstract
A residual mass after induction chemotherapy for advanced seminoma may present radiographically and clinically as either retroperitoneal fibrosis or a discrete mass. The former is nonresectable and often it is associated with negative pathological findings, whereas the latter is resectable but frequently it consists of viable seminoma, providing an indication for further therapy. Keywords
