Abstract
A space potential distribution which is positive at all radii has been measured in the research tokamak RENTOR. This is in sharp contrast to negative potential wells observed in other devices. The positive potential distribution is in qualitative agreement with the predictions of stochastic magnetic field theory. Keywords
