Abstract
Uveal autoantibody has been noted in patients with ocular disease in significantly greater numbers than in patients without known ocular disease. The occurrence of this antibody has been correlated with bilaterality, duration, and severity of disease. Although a large number of specific ocular syndromes have been evaluated, no individual diagnosis has demonstrated a significantly greater incidence of uveal autoantibody than occurred in the overall ocular disease group.
