Abstract
The LiHe) reaction was studied on the nuclei and at =156 MeV at extreme forward angles including zero degree. Gamow-Teller strength and the corresponding B(GT) values were extracted. It is shown that these measurements provide an alternative method to calibrate solar neutrino detectors.
