Abstract
The kinetics of the formation of nitrogen in the initial stages of the nitric oxide-inhibited pyrolysis of ethane have been studied by mass-spectrometry. A mechanism is suggested which gives an excellent quantitative account of all the kinetic features in terms of known rate parameters. Keywords
