Abstract
SUMMARY: Seven temperature-sensitive paralytic mutants were recovered from 4544 lines of ethylmethanesulphonate (EMS) treated autosomes inDrosophila melanogaster. These mutants have been designated temperature-induced paralytic (tip). Thetipmutations belong to six different genes; four of these,tip-A, Tip-B, tip-Candtip-Dare on the second chromosome whiletip-Eandtip-Fare on the third chromosome. This paper describes the paralysing behaviour and genetic localization of thetipmutants. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
