Abstract
Two patients with adult-onset Still disease had a characteristic eruption most prominent during the febrile episodes, splenomegaly, and prolonged fever with temperature elevations to 40.6 C. Extensive investigation excluded other possible causes of fever. One patient partially responded to gold sodium thiomalate therapy. Still disease appears to be distinct from seropositive rheumatoid arthritis. Keywords
