Abstract
A procedure is developed which allows to deduce from recycle measurements the central moments and cumulants of the molecular mass distribution of polymers and the broadening function by the use of properties of statistical distributions. Results of an experimental application of the method are presented. Equations for the calculation of true molecular mass averages from the elution curve are extended for the cases of nonlinear calibration curves and nonlinear broadening. Keywords
