Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) has estimated that approximately 750,000 chemicals are now in use in homes, industry, and agriculture. This does not include pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and food additives, nor the estimated 1,500 different ingredients used in pesticides (Geyer et al. 1986).Keywords
