Abstract
Clinical and autopsy data in 2 cases of disseminated photochromogenic mycobacteria infections are presented. In both instances hematological abnormalities dominated the clinical picture and the presence of the Mycobacterium was discovered at autopsy. Disseminated anonymous mycobacteria may appear concomitantly with myeloproliferative diseases, may mimic malignant lymphomas, and may also be the cause of a variety of hematologic abnormalities, especially anemia and leukopenia. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
