Inclusive production ofK*±(890)andΣ±(1385)resonances inp¯pinteractions at 14.75 GeV/c

The inclusive and semi-inclusive cross sections for $K^{*\pm }\mathrm{}\left(890\right)\mathrm{}$ and ${\Sigma }^{\pm }\mathrm{}\left(1385\right)\mathrm{}$ resonances are determined in $\overline{p}p$ interactions at 14.75 GeV/c. They account for a large fraction of the $K_S^0$ and ${\Lambda }^0$ produced. The $K^{*}$-resonance production also affects the low-${p_T}^2$ distribution of inclusive $K_S^0$. The $x$ distributions of the resonance production are studied in terms of a simple quark-recombination model.
