Abstract
A patient with a meningioma of the medial sphenoid wing underwent inadvertent intraoperative occlusion of the middle cerebral artery. Neurological deficit and infarction were presumably prevented by immediate administration of pentobarbital followed by extracranial-intracranial bypass.Keywords
