Abstract

Asexual reproduction by means of fasciculate gemmae is reported for the 1st time in Chandonanthus Mitt. Mature gemmae in C. setiformis (Ehrh.) Lindb. from southwestern British Columbia [Canada] are dark red, angular, 1(-2)-celled and average 16 .times. 28 .mu.m in size.
