Abstract
Inhibitory effects of extracts from mistletoe (Iscador [a medicinal preparation] or V. album fermente) were studied on growth of lentil roots. The inhibition increases rapidly from lower concentrations of Iscador (1-10 mg/ml) and reaches a maximum at 20 mg/ml. A toxic effect was demonstrated at 40 mg/ml. The conditions of reversion of this phenomenon were also defined.
