Abstract
To demonstrate the existence of a parasexual cycle in the imperfect entomopathogenic fungus, M. anisopliae (Metschnikoff) Sorokin, doubly- and triply-marked strains were forced to form heterokaryons. All heterokaryons produced diploid spores, 2 of which yielded putative recombinants.
