Experience with Electrohydraulic Shockwave Lithotripsy in the Treatment of Vesical Calculi

Abstract
Summary— Five hundred and two patients with bladder stones have been treated by electrohydraulic shockwave lithotripsy (EHSWL) with the Wolf RIWOLTH-2135 disintegrator. The patients were aged between 18 and 80 years. The largest stone measured 3.6 times 4.8 cm but most were less than 3 cm; 533 stones were disintegrated in the 502 patients. The indications and complications of the treatment are discussed.
